This isn't like a fanmix or anything, just songs that I associate with different couples on LOST, of which there are so many to chose from.
Not Too Late by Norah Jones, Sawyer and Kate.
"My lungs are out of air. Yours are holding smoke. And it's been like that now for so long. I've seen people try to change. And I know it isn't easy. But nothin' worth the time ever really is. And it's not too late. It's not too late for love."
Ocean Sized Love by Leigh Nash, Penny and Desmond.
"I don't have to worry anymore. If I really need you I'll go to the shore. And the thought of you there is my protection. I see you right in front of me. A vision in my head. And I know this is as real as a daydream gets. And it may seem much to far. To get back to where you are. But it's close enough. With an ocean-sized love."
Yellow by Coldplay, Charlie and Claire.
"I came along. I wrote a song for you. And everything you do. And it was called yellow. Your skin and bones. Turn into something beautiful. Do you know you know I love you so. You know I love you so."
Call if Off by Tegan and Sara, Jack and Kate.
"Call, break it off. Call, break my own heart. But now we'll never know. I won't be sad. But in case I go there everyday. To make myself feel bad. There's a chance that I'll start to wonder if this was the thing to do."
Till Kingdom Come by Coldplay, Sayid and Nadia.
"Hold my hand inside your hands. I need someone who understands. I need someone, someone who heals. For you I've waited all these years. For you I'd wait til kingdom come. Until my day, my day is done. Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me."
Set the Fire to the Third Bar by Snow Patrol, Sun and Jin.
"After I have traveled so far. We'd set the fire to the third bar. We'd share each other like an island. Until exhausted, close our eyelids. And dreaming pick up from. The last place we left off."
Lost by Coldplay, The Whole Show.
"I just got lost. Every river that I tried to cross. Every door I ever tried was locked. Ohhh and I'm just waiting 'til the shine wears off."
Obviously Coldplay is like the musical representation of LOST?
Writing is boring. I've got history responses, and a paper on characterization in a short story, and I need to work on the first draft of my government paper, and right about now I'd rather be doing algebra. Yickes, this term isn't even half-way over. The Decemberists are amazing, thanks to Brittany and Kayla for telling me about them. I'm reading Brideshead Revisited, and it's absolutely beautiful. We have apricot jam, and that's making me happy.
