More Memes

Memes are everywhere and I can not resist! Seven questions stolen from a 30-day Tumblr meme; GO.

1. The meaning behind your blog name.
It's a quote from JK about Luna. "Luna is the one who is prepared to believe a thousand mad things before breakfast." That quote is a reference to Alice in Wonderland as well, and I want to do about 1,000 posts here, and I write the blog posts while drinking my morning coffee, so it's appropriate on multiple levels.

2. If you had to get a tattoo right now what would it be?
"Ich will glaube" That being, I want to believe, translated into German. I'd get it done in my own handwriting. It would be a tattoo that represented my fandom, my heritage, my interests, myself and in a weird way, my religion. On my wrist or my shoulder blade...

3. A habit you wish you didn't have.
I used to be a nail biter. I killed that habit, and now I have very long, natural, beautiful nails (as people who know me can vouch for). But after killing that habit I started chewing on my hair ends. Ugh.

4. Song lyrics you want to share.
I'm crawling through landmines, just to feel where you've been. There's gauze over my eyes but you're leaving this trail. I'm crawling through landmines, I know cause I planted them. Under cover of night I put my heart in the ground. Where'd you go? Not so far. Please don't go. Not too far. I found your glove with the leather torn. Five fingers that I'm counting on, smoke signals to call you right here. Oh, my love, my dear.
-Landmines, St Vincent

5. A picture of a place that has influenced you.
Boston. I want to be a Boston person, if I ever fail at being a New Yorker. I love Boston, I spent a lot of time there when I was little, and my parents lived there when they were first married.

6. What was your very first ship?
Johnny/Cilla was the first I got into. Still a ship of mine to be honest. Someone needs to write fic, okay? Not me though. And yes, there is such a thing as a Sons of Liberty play-set. Note picture.

7. One book you want to see made into a movie.
Howl's Moving Castle. And I'd cast Jamie Campbell Bower as Howl and Bonnie Wright as Sophie and it would be acccccurate, and by that I don't mean it will stick to the book to a tee, because I'm not a book purest, but by that I mean that it would not be like the Anime which I was sorely disappointed in.

This morning has been long and lazy. Then I get to go babysit a mess of awesome kids, and then THE PANDORICA OPENS. BE THERE. (Doctor Who episode, for those of you who do not understand the world of Doctor Who.)

Oh my goodness a Howl's Moving Castle w/ Jamie Campbell Bower and Bonnie Wright would be amazing.
