Taken from a 30 Day Meme

I stole a 30 day meme off Tumblr, because instead of a favorites meme it was an 'Whatever tickled your fancy' one. And it looks coooll. Of course, I only took the first ten days.


Day 1 — A fictional book
My currently read: Though the Darkness Hide Thee, by Susan Wise Bauer. It's really scary and fascinating and oddly homey. I like it.


Day 2 — A non-fictional book
History of the Ancient World, by Susan Wise Bauer. I really, really like Susan. She is my role model for life.


Day 3 — A fanfic
I'm reccing two fics, how dangerous of me.
Promises, Rory/Amy, baby!Rory, baby!Amy, mentions of Eleven, but you never actually see him.
Selections, Mulder and Scully oneshots through season 7. Skinner and the Gunmen cameo.


Day 4 — A song that makes you cry
The Scientist by Coldplay. Every time I hear it, even though I don't actually cry, I get that sinking sad feeling.


Day 5 — An art piece
Girl with Curls, Salvador Dali. I love surrealist stuff, but honestly I think I like Dali's saner stuff better.


Day 6 — A quote
Every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice-versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant. -Eleven


Day 7 — A talent of yours
Reading books with large mugs of tea. It takes a lot of talent to pull something that hard off.


Day 8 — A hobby of yours
Making mac'n'cheese. I think I've eaten about 7 boxes worth the last 2 weeks. It's definitely turning into a hobby.


Day 9 — A recipe
I have never actually made this, but omg it looks like heaven!! Coffee Cake.


Day 10 — A website
io9, Jezebel and Gawker. Three sites in affiliation with each other. One for science and sci-fi, one for news and media from a feminist point of view and one for news, gossip and general weirdness.

Requiem = AWESOME. LIKE REALLY AWESOME. Have I mentioned my girlcrush on Marita yet? I'm ready for some Scully angst and Skinner guilt next season. Muhaha.
