Lockets

I finally got around to watching Harry Potter 6 yesterday! (Which was really cool. Especially Draco.) But what I really liked was the design of the Horcrux locket. I love lockets. So I thought... why not. Today's theme will be lockets.

I don't think I'd ever wear a locket with a unicorn on it, but it's good to know they're out there.

I love this one, it reminds me of American Eagle Outfitters jewelry.

Cameos are always great. I've always wanted a cameo necklace or at least cameo earrings.

I have a nice old locket that my grandmother gave me. This looks sort of like it.

And then, of course, your basic heart shaped locket.

Okay, good bye then.

Roy Lichtenstein

Roy Lichtenstein is my other favorite artist after Paul Klee. He's so much better then Warhol and all those other pop artists.

"Oh, Alright" This is my absolute favorite of his!

"Obra De Atre"

"Thinking of Him"

"Drowning Girl"

I think it was at the MOMA where I saw an exhibit of his work... It's all so vibrant and emotional, something I think most pop art lacks.

Beautiful People

Sometimes when we get annoyed at our own lack of pretty we can think that we hate Beautiful People. But even if we sort of hate them we still love looking at them. Here are 10 hot human who I arbitrarily picked cause they're hot.

Come on now, Diane Kruger is gorgeous. Like gorgeous enough to play Helen of Troy.

Ben Barnes is pretty awesome too. I mean, awesome enough to play Dorian Gray.

In my humble opinion, Eva Green is one of the most beautiful woman alive.

I've only recently been exposed to David Duchovny's fineness, but I'm sure I'll never be the same again!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is flawless. I don't know what else to say.

Josh Holloway is just pretty. And his hair is pretty. And his character Sawyer on LOST is even prettier.

Evangeline Lily is sooo perfect. It's a pity that on LOST she wears no make up, tee-shirts and jeans and has messy hair all the time.

James Dean. Wait, he's dead you say? Like that matters. His hotness transcends it.

Leighton Meester is stunning. I've never seen a second of Gossip Girl but gosh, she's gorgeous!

James McAvoy is also attractive. Like, very attractive.

See? You can be all like, "I hate beautiful people" and stuff, but it's not true. We have too much fun looking at them.

Guilty Pleasure Series Part 2: Twinkies, Etc

It is a universally known fact of life that Little Debbie's, Hostess, Drakes Cakes and Entenmman's are just really really bad for you. Considering I pretty much had sugar for lunch today I thought it would be appropriate to showcase my five favorite preservative-pumped corn syrup-filled guilty pleasures.

Hostess' Orange Cupcakes. Words can not describe how much I love these. They've been my favorite for as long as I can remember. Sadly, they are like 320 calories per pack. I don't eat them very often.

BLUEBERRY MINI BITES.
Okay, sorry, I needed a minute to calm down. My mom refused to buy them when I was younger, they were too expensive or something. So whenever my grandmother offered me a treat, I picked these.

I'm one of those rare people who actually sincerely loves Twinkies. But come on, they're just sugar and Crisco. Everyone knows that.

Drake's Yodels are the best chocolate snack cake this side of like, the Milkyway or something. I always try to eat the chocolate of first and then peel open the cake, but it never really works.

No one in my family likes Little Debbie's Zebra Cakes but me, so I don't think I've had one in about two years. But it's the white chocolate that gets me. It's by far my favorite chocolate, and I can't think of any other snack cake that actually has white chocolate.

Sure I also love real desserts filled with real ingredients like key lime pie or oatmeal raisin cookies, but anyone who hates snack cakes have no heart.

Happy Potter Day

The 6th movie comes out today people! But my family are all losers, and we're not going to see it till Saturday. Ewww. Anyway, to commemorate the day, here is some rockin' Harry Potter fanart!

Yup. I'm a Harry Ginny shipper and I don't even care. (ReallyCorking)

Lupin and Tonks were so awesome while they lasted, but the angst got the better of them. (HillaryCW)

I always liked Fleur. I know I probably the only one, but whatever. She and Bill are pretty. (HillaryCW)

Post-war happiness! (NinnyTreetops)

Oh yes. Epic. (Lburghol)

Bridesmaid Ginny at Bill's wedding. (?)

Ah, Lucius and Narcissa. Possibly the most epic couple in Harry Potter, or the one that had to put up with the most. (Makani)

All the gurlz in Harry Potter world. (ImageC0rrupt3d)

ANVIL. (ReallyCorking)

Poor Snape. I actually don't really like him, but I still feel bad for him. (?)

Luna and Ginny and Neville are just so much crazier then the original trio. JK need to write about their adventures during Deathly Hallows. (Marydeams)

Anyway, I should go have breakfast. And maybe get dressed.
